Feldenkrais for Children & Teenagers

Sessions in South London

How Feldenkrais Works

Children are natural movement learners, using their sensory intelligence and curiosity to explore the world from birth.

The Feldenkrais Method works with the child’s innate sense to move; the proprioceptive, vestibular, and kinaesthetic systems to support development and everyday functionality.

My work is grounded in the belief that given the right conditions everybody can learn. For some children and teenagers facing additional physical or learning hurdles, their world requires translation by those around them to optimise their potential.

Feldenkrais can help with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, PMLD, and support parents/carers.

My work with disabled children and teenagers has developed through years of hands-on experience with children, families and carers - working collaboratively to make everyday life a little easier.

I taught Movement My First Language, an international project for adults who live or work with children with special needs.

My Approach

Through gentle, playful, non-invasive touch and movement exploration, I help young people discover more independent movement through their own felt intelligence and agency.

Sessions & Booking

Individual Sessions & Mini Series Available
A mini series of 2-4 sessions over 5-9 days works particularly well. This immersive approach over a shorter timeframe promotes deeper continuous learning. Individual sessions are also available.

Session Details
Sessions typically last 40-60 minutes depending on your child's needs, taking place on the floor, a low-padded table, or with the child alongside their adult.

Based in South London
The room I work from is upstairs with no lift (13 steps up to the room). Storage space is available downstairs for buggies and wheelchairs.

Pricing & Access
£75 per session

My philosophy is to make Feldenkrais financially accessible so more families can experience this approach. If finance is a genuine barrier, please contact me.
